14,000 and counting
It might be silly to keep posting every 2,000 downloads, but I enjoy the little pleasure of the small milestones so here we are again. This month it came a week earlier than the last time, almost a week early in fact.
So it's been confirmed, thanks to a wonderful reader, that HTDC is indeed a default book in the Aldiko app on the Android phone. It just comes built into the app. I wonder what site they're pulling it from and if it counts those books as downloads. Probably not, but it's fun to think about.
I found this video about Aldiko and you'll see in there that I'm in there towards the end of the video on the digital bookshelf right next to Great Expectations, Moby Dick and Les Miserables. How pleasantly odd.
I've received a few more donations from generous readers and have gotten a few more friends/followers/fans on Facebook/Twitter. Keep it coming! I'd love to hear more about who's reading, where you got it, what you thought and anything else you'd like to tell me about. A few more nice reviews have popped up on Amazon from Kindle readers and I couldn't be happier about it all.
Keep reading, keep sharing, keep blogging/posting.
12,000 downloads on Feedbooks.com!

How strange that HTDC has been downloaded 2,000 times each month for the past few months. I realized today that my 10k post was Sept 1 and my 8k post was Jul 31 (so close). I've gotten a few new comments/friends/donations/followers on Twitter and I hope you all keep finding me in the months to come.
Someone pointed out that HTDC is one of the default books on the Android phones, though without access to one, I can't know! If someone else has read my book as a default book on an Android phone, please let me know. I'd love to even see a picture of it somehow.
Once again, thanks a million to everyone who's been reading and then blogging/commenting/tweeting.
